In line with its commitment to the Hong Kong International Convention for the Safe and Environmentally Sound Recycling of Ships (HKC) and its broader Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives, Prime Green Recyclers participated in a two-day professional training program on “Occupational Hazard Identification and Mitigation” organized under the SENSREC-DW Project.
The training was conducted on 11–12 February 2026 at the BDA Complex, Gadani, and focused on enhancing occupational health and safety standards, risk identification, and mitigation practices within ship recycling facilities. Prime Green Recyclers was represented by Mr. Shakeel Ahmed (Assistant Manager HSE), Mr. Khalil Ahmed (Yard Manager), Mr. Abdul Qayyum (Head Supervisor), and Mr. Umair Khan (Junior HSE Manager).
This participation reflects Prime Green Recyclers’ continued efforts to support national regulatory frameworks, strengthen workforce capacity, and contribute to the sustainable, safe, and environmentally responsible development of Pakistan’s ship recycling industry.
